
Brokerage Associate Maddy Stout recently represented the landlord, 2783 Atlantic Owners, in the lease of 2,625 square feet of office space to Berkadia Commercial Mortgage at 121 Calhoun Street in Charleston. This lease transaction brings the 7,450-square-foot office building to full occupancy.
Berkadia Commercial Mortgage is the largest non-bank commercial mortgage servicer in the US, offering commercial real estate lending, brokerage and servicing. The firm also provides investment sale and property research services.
121 Calhoun Street is a premier Class A office building in the Charleston downtown area with on-site parking and close proximity to restaurants, hotels and shopping. Berkadia Commercial Mortgage will occupy the second floor of the building, allowing the firm to take advantage of exceptional visibility to more than 15,000 vehicles and thousands of pedestrians each day.
The first floor at 121 Calhoun is home to White Magnolia, a distinguished bridal boutique, while the third floor is occupied by content creation group Creators Corner. Both leases were facilitated by Colliers in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
